Stefan Suberlak
Born in Piotrowice
Slaskie in 1928. Graduated from the Katowice branch of the Krakow
Academy of Fine Arts in 1952. He was an honorary member of the
Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy. He had many solo shows
and participated in group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He
won several prestigious awards (e.g. at the Fourth International
Graphic Biennial in Ljubljana in 1961, and the Second International
Graphic Biennial in Krakow in 1968). His works are included in
private and public collections. He practiced painting and graphic
arts, mostly lithograph, linocut and woodcut.
He died in 1994.
